Our company continues to work on the modernization of production facilities. We have purchased three new types of equipment – a laser marking machine, a laser cutting and metal cutting machine, and a waterjet cutting unit.
Currently, new equipment has been put into operation and is used in our production. The use of new machines makes it possible to increase the productivity of work and guarantee high precision in machining the parts of the manufactured products.
The new waterjet cutting unit is designed for cutting sheet material of various types (rubber, textolite, steel, aluminum alloys) under high pressure water jet, both with the use of quartz or granite sand, and without it.
The installation is equipped with a numerical control system with a modern interface and allows you to cut out the necessary parts in accordance with the requirements of the design documentation and the project. In addition, the use of specialized software provides for the creation and import of drawings directly from the developer / designer.
Also among the advantages of the installation is a high degree of accuracy in cutting parts and the ability to work with sheet material up to 100 mm thick. The use of the installation allows you to maximize the automation of the production process
The machine for laser cutting and cutting of metal is designed for automatic high-precision cutting of various sheet metals with dimensions of 1.5 by 1.5 meters and rolled pipes with a diameter of up to 300 mm. The new laser marking machine is used for industrial engraving of finished parts and assemblies, barcodes, serial numbers, production dates resistant to external climatic factors. At the same time, the technologies used allow marking on various types of materials, including steel, film, synthetics, and plastic.
As the general director of METAL SPS Group Stephen Erickson said, the renewal of mechanical and technological equipment is one of the priority directions of development of our enterprise. Every year the enterprise spends large sums on modernization and technical re-equipment of production facilities. In 2021, these works will continue, it is planned to purchase two five-axis milling machining centers.
